Internal systems
Tools built around how your team actually works, replacing the spreadsheets, inboxes and re-keying that hold things together today.
Bespoke software · Greater Manchester
Internal systems, automations, web apps and websites — built from scratch around how your business actually works.
Nine years building software for the web. No templates, no page builders: every project is written in code, for the job in hand.
Selected work
A few recent builds, and what each one does for the business behind it.
A professional website for an established salon in Leigh, featuring a service gallery, transparent pricing menu, client testimonials, and Google Maps integration — helping a 20-year local business stand out online.
A lead-generating site for a 25-year North West roofing firm — before-and-after project galleries, council trader accreditations, 50+ imported reviews and a quote form that puts enquiries straight in front of the owner.
A Last Man Standing football app built to replace the group-chat spreadsheet — picks that lock to a deadline, results pulled from the official feed, and an unchangeable record of every pick so nobody has to adjudicate.
About
Leyth is run by Tom Crooks, a software developer with nine years’ experience, based in Leigh, Greater Manchester.
Most businesses run on a patchwork: a spreadsheet here, an inbox there, a tool that almost fits. Leyth builds what replaces it — an internal system, an automation, a web app, or a website that brings in enquiries.
It starts with the problem, not the technology. Tell me what’s slowing the business down, and I’ll tell you plainly whether software is the answer.
What I do
Some problems need a website. More need a tool: something that takes a job off someone’s desk, or joins up two systems that should already talk to each other. I build both.
Tools built around how your team actually works, replacing the spreadsheets, inboxes and re-keying that hold things together today.
The repetitive jobs that eat hours every week, handed to software that does them the same way every time.
Systems that should talk to each other, joined up so information goes in once and shows up everywhere it's needed.
Software your customers use: booking systems, portals and products. Knockt, in Recent work, is one.
Fast, hand-built websites that turn searches into enquiries. No templates, no page builders.
Hosting, fixes and improvements once it's live, so it stays fast, secure and current.
Everything is built from scratch, so it does what your business needs rather than what a template allows.
The approach
However big or small the project, these come as standard.
How it works
You always know what's happening next, and what it costs.
Tell me what's slowing the business down, or what you want to build. No jargon needed.
A clear proposal with scope, timeline and cost, so there are no surprises.
With regular previews along the way, so you see it take shape and can steer.
Once you're happy, it launches — and support is there afterwards if you need it.
Get in touch
A website, a web app, or a job your team does by hand every week — tell me about it. I'll talk you through the options plainly, with no pressure.
